project365
(My project365 is on a hiatus at the moment – but will be returning soon.)
Random pictures of my life – originally intended to be a part of a project365. I underestimated what this project would require, so I’m holding off for a little bit until I can properly put the time in. In the meantime, enjoy what I’ve posted already!

I love and adore the jaracanda trees here in Los Angeles. This is my third time seeing them bloom, and they always make me smile. We don’t have them in Colorado, so they’re definitely exotic for me.

This is a piece of the Berlin Wall – and the plaque under it says that the Berlin Wall once stood against the free exchange of art and ideas. It finally fell all those years ago. And yet it’s still strangely beautiful. Beauty still has a funny way of overcoming even the worst of circumstances to break through. So wonderful.

So I’m totally cheating for today. My sister was in a tornado this morning, and of course, being my sister, she took pictures of it instead of looking for shelter. :) And I decided that being in a tornado was drastically cooler than anything I did! So, in honor of my crazy sister, I give you the tornado she’s been praying for since she was 3 years old.

When I moved to California, I swore I was going to go to the ocean every day. And everyone laughed and said I might be surprised… it’s funny how often you can take things for granted when they’re right in front of you. So here’s my first time at the ocean in a little over a month.

A few days ago, I was talking with my grandma, telling her how much I missed the rain. And this morning, there it was. A tiny reminder that God hears my random prayers and every once in a while, says, “Yes!” He is a God of details.

i LOVE project365! i think i’m going to start it next year! have you enjoyed it? =)
